Transfering Your Line

  1. Please sign the service transfer form at GLBB office at least 2 weeks prior to your move.
  2. NTT will arrange the installation schedule at your new address upon GLBB's request (GLBB acts as intermediary between customer and NTT)
  3. NTT performs installation of the new modem about 2 weeks after application (depending on the new address, it may take more than 2 weeks).

In the case of automatic service upgrade upon transfer, your GLBB email account will be closed and a new email account will be issued.

In the case of automatic service upgrade or additional service upon transfer, your NTT equipment will change and the number of available LAN ports may decrease.

GLBB recommends checking service availability before signing the rent agreement for your new house. Service availability can vary depending on the area and the structure of building you are moving to. Even if service is available, it can take a few months until installation. If the new residence is located higher than the 4th floor, NTT requires a survey before installation which may take an additional month to schedule.

How long does it take to transfer my current service to the new address?

Transfer schedule will be arranged solely by NTT; it usually takes about 2-3 weeks for service transfer. Depending on the area and the building structure, it may take a few months. Service may not even be available, so please check with us for service availability before signing the new house contract.

Do I need to change the setting on my PC/wireless router?

If your service type does not change, no. However, if your service changes and you are provided new NTT equipment, you will need to modifying the setting on your network equipment. Please refer to our technical support guidance. You can also bring in your device to GLBB office for reconfiguration.
